| RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT WHEREAS, the owners of structures on Jamestown Reservoir, Lake Tschida and Lake Patterson have made substantial investments in their property and should be provided the opportunity to acquire the lots; and WHEREAS, the South Central Citizens Coalition supports legislation introduced by Montana Senator Conrad Burns to be the effective tool to permit the sale of Bureau of Reclamation land to the home owners; and WHEREAS, the South Central Citizens Coalition supports the home and cabin owners’ desire to acquire the land where they have invested time, money and resources; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Central Citizens Coalition approves and endorses the efforts of the North Dakota Lakeside Task Force to acquire the property on which their cabins and homes are located from the Bureau of Reclamation. |
